Its distressing how many times perfectly good products on the App Store are ruined by updates. I came to Write2 after another note keeping app improved itself into uselessness, and was completely satisfied with the switch until now. While adding pointless shiny trinkets like background images and parallax, Write has thrown away the ability to globally change attributes like font size (you now have to do it on a note by note basis), introduced a HUGE gap between adjacent lines with no way of changing them to something proportionate to the font size, and most importantly, broken the sync capability. Now, when I modify a document on my iPod Touch, rather than updating the document on the iPad, I get an additional, alternate copy. I dont know why so many of these developers seem compelled to make their apps worse, but for me, history is repeating itself and Im off to look for a replacement. Again.

All my documents are now completely inaccessible because the app crashes every time I try to open them.

Everytime I open the app it automatically creates a document called emergency and I send it to the trash everytime. Is there a way to disable this document from being created. I still love this app but with the disappointing last update, my rating for this app has dropped.

The new Write(3) app wastes too much space above & below each line of text. I attempted to fix this by choosing a different font, then discovered that the font dialog displayed off the bottom-right corner of my iPhone4 screen (which could be corrected by switching between landscape & portrait modes.) I decided to revert back to my older iTunes-saved Write2 app until these new issues were fixed. Thank goodness for iTunes app backups! I wrote to the developers in the last week of July, but never heard back.

Keeps on crashing and has limited features. Why change something that was kinda ok before?

I used to have an iPod 4th generation that ran an older version of this app and I LOVED it. Despite the iPod being years old and the software crashing every other app I used, the Write 2 app ran perfectly and smoothly. However, while the upgrade is visually appealing, and looks really nice with the iOS 7 look, there are a number of bugs and glitches. For instance, if I scroll down to a certain point in a document and then scroll up, the document will scroll back to the top. Also, some documents will crash while editing. Furthermore, theres the issue of themes. Instead of a theme covering all the documents (say, if I set the dark theme and all fonts turn white and the background black), it will only affect one document. Then, when opening the document, the background will change back to white but leave the font the same, making it seem as though nothing has been typed. Changing it back to black often results in crashing. I really hope that the developers will update the app and fix these bugs. It really saddens me that an app that had been my favourite is now unreliable and frustrating to work with.

When ever I creat number and press enter the app crashes on me. This is a grate app help with quit notes in class. plz fix it

Great for keeping notes organized, fun, and out of the way. Love the passcode protect and different fonts!

I save a lot of info in this app because of the security feature but now after the update to ios 9, I cannot view or access any of my info. Please fix this as soon as possible. Thanks.

I have no way now to access any of the documents I have created in this app. I hope they Can be retrieved somehow then I will uninstall the app. I might have lost very important data. Please tell me where the app stores the files.

I lost all my files after I upgraded my iOS. So sad!

Before the latest update, I used this app all the time! Loved it!!! But then, the update... and now all of my nicely saved and organized files... are gone. :( Please fix this app so it works again!!!!

Since ive updated to ios 9, i cant access any of my notes, the app crash everytime. U guys have to make an update to support ios 9 asap!

Its October. Cmon. The amount of info I have stored in this app that I now canNOT access is seriously disturbing.

Please fix this already! I really loved using that app to brainstorm ideas for any potential novels I may write in that future. The fact that it was connected to an online source, so that I wouldnt lose the data if my phone died, was only a bonus.

Upgraded my iPhone 4S and now whenever I try to access a file, it crashes. I had some important files on this app, now theyre gone. Please fix.

please find a way to upgrade the app for iOS9, or all my work is lost. This is normally a 5 star app and this review will be changed as soon as its fixed.

Like so many others are saying, I have some information locked up in your program that I want to access to, but I dont really want to go back to an old backup of my iPhone with the old OS. So get on it and fix it or write2 will get warnings from the likes of us: no product support!!!

Latest update gave me back my documents! Thanks for that! However.. I am unable to create NEW documents for some reason. Trying to do so, clicking the "new file" option, the selection window just goes away, and nothing happens.
